Vacation Homes in Orlando: A Place for Families, Couples and Group of Friends

Well-known for its attractions, Orlando is a haven for family fun and excitement. Only 20 miles south of Orlando City is the world-famous Walt Disney World Resort located in Lake Buena Vista.

Because so many tourists visit the city, vacation homes are a lucrative business especially near the Walt Disney Resort area. Aside from Disney world, tourists are also enchanted by SeaWorld and the Orlando Universal Resort.

Vacation homes near these areas have varying rates. The rates of rentals depend on the size of the home, the amenities and location of the house. Most vacation homes are minutes away from Orlando\'s prime tourist attractions.

In downtown Orlando there are fewer vacation homes primarily because downtown is far from the tourist attractions. Currently, this part of the city is undergoing major renovations to accommodate residential houses and commercial towers.

If you plan to avoid the rainy season, then renting a vacation home is best during the months of November to March. During these months, the weather is cooler and there is less frequent rainfall.

However, because of the cooler weather, you might spend more for renting pool heaters, that is, if your vacation house has a pool in it.

Since Orlando is mostly visited by families, vacation homes generally allow kids to stay. Most of these vacation homes have all the amenities for children and infants such as a crib and children\'s playroom.

Aside from these features, vacation homes are usually equipped with BBQ grills, microwaves, coffeemakers, refrigerators, television sets and CD/DVD players.

Remember, when renting a vacation home you should check the actual size of the bedrooms and number of bed these have. Also, choose a vacation home that has most of the things you have at home.

As much as possible you\'d want your stay to be comfortable and relaxing.

There are several vacation homes in Orlando that offer reasonably priced rentals. The minimum stay in a home could be from a week to 30 days depending on the owner. If you won\'t be staying that long in Orlando but wish to stay in a private abode, you will also find vacation homes that rent on a daily basis.
